When we think of a photo shoot for our cases, it's not just about taking pictures of a product. It is an interplay of precision, creativity and state-of-the-art technology - sometimes even robots help. Today we would like to take you behind the scenes and show you what happens before a picture is perfect.

The first step: creating the setting

Every shoot starts with an idea - but before we can put the suitcase in the spotlight, we need the right stage. For our current campaign, we opted for a studio that initially looks like a blank canvas. Our aim: to create an atmosphere that emphasises the high-quality character of our products. The set-up is crucial: we choose a dark green colour scheme for the set. This colour brings out the details of our case and at the same time provides an elegant contrast.

There is still a lot of work to be done before the first flash: The light has to be perfect. When it comes to lighting, we focus on subtle nuances. Our aim is to make every detail visible - from the details in the inner lining to the innovative fastening systems. We work with special light sources and positioning to emphasise the textures and at the same time control the shadows so that no details are lost. Once the set has been prepared, our product takes centre stage. It should not just be shown - it should inspire! That's why we use various lighting accents to emphasise the special features of our new series. Whether soft shadows or targeted highlights - every angle is carefully planned so that the case can unfold its full effect.

A real highlight of our shoot was the use of a so-called motion control robot. This high-precision robotic arm works mounted on a rail and can perform movements with millimetre precision. This means: If a certain camera movement is programmed and repeated ten times, all the shots are exactly the same. What does this mean for us? Particularly impressive close-ups of individual components or special details – as close and sharp as humanly possible. Absolute precision is required for these shots: Every speck of dust must be removed, every component correctly aligned. Because every aspect counts with such millimetre-precise settings.
